Streamkeeper Course Feb. 26-28
We are holding another Streamkeeper's course! Last year had a long waitlist, so register early to avoid disappointment. Click here for details.
Learn to be a Streamkeeper
Help protect the watersheds of Campbell River by learning to measure and monitor the health of our streams.
February 26 – 28, 2016
Streamkeepers is a fun and educational 2½ day introduction to stream stewardship. This weekend course offers individuals an opportunity for hands-on learning and practice of stream stewardship activities such as stream surveying, conducting water quality testing, and stream invertebrate identification. Come and learn what Streamkeepers do.
No experience is necessary, just a willingness to get your hands wet!
Participants that successfully complete the course will be awarded a Streamkeepers Certificate. We'll put you in touch with local Streamkeepers groups so you can help insure the continued health of our Campbell River watersheds.
